Try out the Pender Hill Trail for a fabulous, panoramic view of Pender Harbour from a level, open, moss-covered hilltop in Pender Hill Park. Or check out Frances Point Marine Park, it’s undeveloped, but offers a trail to a panoramic ocean view at the top of Francis Peninsula in Madeira Park.
Paddling
The area is known as “Venice of the North” because of its network of picturesque bays, inlets, coves and lakes. All of the Pender Harbour shoreline is varied and interesting territory to explore. Indian rock paintings or pictographs are visible at Agamemnon Channel, Sakinaw Lake and Nelson Island.
